Hands On Training Track Descriptions

Track 1: Engine Track

Lead Instructors:

Everything Engine!

This 8-hour program has been designed to provide the students a wide array of different Engine Company Operations, including;

* Nozzle and hose selections

* Hose loads

* Making the stretch

* Flowing and moving

* Pin and hit techniques

* Managing the big lines

* Monitors

Students will have the opportunity to try a variety of nozzles, hose size and types, different hose loads and stretches, bundles for residential, mid-rise, and high-rise operations, flowing and moving in the hose maze, and much more. This is a full day of engine company operations that will enhance and improve all skill levels.

Track 2: Truck Track

Search / VES

 * Drags and maneuvering victims. (big and small)

 * Victim removal from windows

 * Searching around and under victims. (where there’s 1 there’s 2...)

 * Tips on using a TIC when searching

 * Forcible entry techniques

Vertical Ventilation

 * Basics of vertical vent

 * Walkable vs. non walkable pitches

 * Cut sequences

 * Tool selection and utilization

PPE Needed

 * Full gear w/ airpark

 * Eye and ear protection

Refunds and Cancellations

***NO REFUNDS FOR TICKET CANCELLATIONS after April 15, 2025***

If you cannot attend the Conference, you may transfer your registration to another attendee no later than 10 days prior to the conference. All cancellations or requests for transfer must be sent in writing via e-mail to [email protected],  to let us know the person's name, department, and email address so we can get the registration transferred.

If you CAN NOT attend and are NOT able to transfer your seat to someone else, you may request a refund until April 15, 2025 minus a 15% processing fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations after this date.
